Learn MoreSafe Harbor Recovery Center is a community center and outpatient facility established in 2016 as a result of a community-driven effort. Safe Harbor helps individuals consider, initiate, and sustain recovery from substance misuse using trained peers with direct and indirect lived experience. We embrace all pathways to better health and consider creative expression a pathway in itself. We offer a full schedule of facilitated recovery groups (SMART, NA, GRASP etc.), employment support and also one-on-one recovery support/peer counseling. Recovery coaching can be useful in any stage of recovery or in or following a state of recurrence or if you are someone trying to make a change in the direction of better health, with “health” defined by you. It can stand alone (community-based recovery is powerful, or it can supplement clinical and other supports). We also offer family support services for those who are indirectly affected by another’s substance use and complications. Our services are confidential, cost-free and available virtually and by walk-in basis. We also offer holistic wellness services like Reiki and auricular ear acupuncture.
